Used, in good cosmetic condition and fully working. This 'K' variant unit has the optional 10Mhz and 1KHz outputs installed. The date is correct and the time reflects the correct number of leap seconds. The internal sealed lead acid battery condition is not known and is not warrantied. Please assume that it will need replacement before permanent installation. The firmware date is from before 2007 so the Auto DST capability (if enabled) will be working off the pre-2007 pattern of DST rules. These clocks are configured by means of a small control application (https://www.ese-web.com/ftp/esegps.exe) that runs under Windows 32/64bit and which communicates via a serial cable (not included). So please only purchase this if you have a PC with a serial port and cable which you can use to set up the date, timezone offset, cable length etc. You will most likely need you to run the config application when you first power up the unit before it will show the correct time and/or date, or before it will achieve sync. If required I can send the buyer the control application via email. The included antenna is basic and is included to allow you to test the unit immediately upon receipt. For a proper installation, a durable external weatherproof antenna is highly recommended. Almost any of the generic 5V conical type antennae with a gain of 26dB or more should suffice. Description

The ES-185A is a GPS Master Clock/Time Code Generator. The unit receives accurate time and date information from Global Positioning System satellites and supplies this data to the user in a variety of forms. An 8-channel receiver is employed, although reception of only one is required for time data to be output. ESE's ES-185A offers an accuracy of better than 10nS.
