Unit is unused, still in the factory carton which has some wear, tape, labels etc on the outside.  It's in mint cosmetic condition and has been tested to confirm that it works as it should. The 115V AC power supply is included as are a full set of connector blocks, and a RS-232 serial interface cable. No printed manual is included but a copy may be downloaded from https://www.prostudioconnection.net/0513/Broadcast_Tools_SS8.2_Manual.PDF. Ships set to RS-232 @ 9600 8-N-1, a console input of [Space] [Zero] brings up the main menu.
Description
The SS8.2 is designed to accommodate 8 stereo inputs, 2 stereo outputs and 2 monaural outputs. Output selectable silence sense monitoring is also provided. The SS8.2 may be controlled via front panel switches with indicators and/or externally. This may be any momentary contact closure or TTL/CMOS logic. Open collectors are provided for status. The SS8.2 also has the ability to be controlled by a computer.

Additional features include stereo silence sensor with SPDT relay, front panel stereo LED VU meters, stereo headphone jack with level control, powered monitor level control all with output selection switching, 16 Trigger(PIP) inputs, four GPO open collectors and four SPDT relays. Installation is simplified with pluggable euroblock screw terminals. The SS 8.2 is supplied in a 1-RU chassis.
