Behringer AES8024 DSP9024 AES/EBU Digital I/O Upgrade Conversion Kit DSP8024

The AES8024 enables you to integrate your ULTRA-CURVE PRO or ULTRA-DYNE PRO in the digital domain by supplying digital inputs and outputs. Based on the widespread AES/EBU (Audio Engineering Society/European Broadcasting Union) format, the option gives you comprehensive digital compatibility. The AES8024 comes as an easy-to-install expansion board and includes the required XLR connectors and an installation manual.

This item was discontinued quite a while ago and is now very tough to find. However when installed into your Behringer signal processor it converts in into a powerful fully digital processing engine with no A>D and D>A signal conversion artifacts. Think of turning your DSP9024 into a Digital I/O Optimod for about 5% of the cost of an Orban!

Note that this requires you to do internal work inside your item's case. The instructions are simple and only a Philips screwdriver is usually needed but you probably should have some idea what you are doing, or ask a technican to give you a hand.
