Use the images to check that this matches the old part from your system.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eLike most Culligan stuff, it's a proprietary design so you are locked into using them to get your unit back up and working again. Culligan quoted me $300 to swap out the failed one on my system.  This part should therefore save you a lot by doing the job yourself.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThese seem to jam every few years (depending on the condition of your water). The rubber seals gradually become stiffer which impedes the movement of the plunger, and eventually the torque of the motor driving the plunger in and out can no longer move the piston, at which point the unit stops working and gives an error code.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe fix is to pull out the valve assembly and replace with the parts you see here (after a liberal application of silicone lubricant).
