ESE ES-101 GPS SMPTE/EBU TC90 ASCII RS232 Serial Timecode Generator Source Clock [Used]

A lightly used GPS SMPTE/EBU Timecode source. A basic test antenna is included, but a professional grade outdoor antenna of 25dB of more will probably be required for correct operation. I doubt that this unit will achieve sync with the antenna behind a window. The manual is not included but it may be downloaded from the link below if required. This is a 115V AC device.

Description

The ES-101 is a low-cost yet very accurate GPS Master Clock/Time Code Generator. The unit receives time and date information from Global Positioning System satellites and supplies this data to the user in the form of four different types of time code: SMPTE/EBU, ASCII (RS-232C), ESE-TC89 and ESE-TC90. Two (2) One Pulse Per Second outputs and a GPS "Lock" output are also standard features.

A twelve-channel receiver is employed that is capable of tracking up to twelve satellites simultaneously, although reception of only one is required for time data to be output.
