This unit works partially. It is being offered for sale on an as-is, final sale basis with no returns accepted. In my brief (and non-exhaustive) testing I was able to access the unit via the LAN jack using the 2X Control Application under Windows 10 64 Bit (I can email this to the buyer if required) - and I was able to configure, monitor and control the unit as normal. The unit passes audio on all channels in both analog and digital audio formats. The LED meters seem to respond as expected. The main issue with this unit is that the front panel buttons seem to be inoperative. I don't know the reason - there isn't a loose interconnection cable inside. In practice this is possibly a non-issue as you would normally control this unit remotely via the App (which also allows you to set the IP address). Using the front panel buttons offers limited control and is a cumbersome process. The unit can be reset via the rear panel reset button, which does work as expected. The unit has been upgraded to the latest firmware available at the time of listing (v2.69) and has been reset to factory defaults (ie. IP address set via DHCP). I have not tested the REMOTE port, or the WORD CLOCK INPUT ports.

I'm sharing the results of my testing to help you in your purchase decision, but I do not guarantee that you will get the same results or reach the same conclusions. Nor that I haven't missed some important point. Please bear this in mind in your valuation.

The AirTools Voice Processor 2x is a flexible, powerful and easy to use dual-channel programmable digital microphone processor that offers a complete set of voice enhancement tools for any situation. The available Windows software application gives you complete control of critical parameters including EQ, Compression, and much more. Once a desired sound is dialed in, all settings can be saved as named presets for later recall, so a given studio mic can be optimized for a diverse air staff of male and female voices.
