This unit works partially. It is being offered for
parts/repair - or for operation with limited
functionality. The front panel push buttons no longer
seem to function, but the unit can be controlled remotely
via RS-232 serial connection and via TCP/IP. I have
tried a full hardware reset but this has not changed
anything. In my testing I was able to manage the unit
remotely and change program parameters. I was not able
to change parameters using the front panel push buttons (but
the rotary encoder does seem to work OK). Serial
communications are set to 19200 baud and the IP address is
set at 192.168.1.188. It may not be possible to change
these values due to the unresponsive front panel
buttons. I don't know if the IP address can be changed
via an ARP command. The unit's audio performance is
normal. If you want to use AES digital audio
input then you will need to make up a cable to connect the
input signal via the Homerlink RJ45 jack. The pinouts
for this jack are given in the User Manual. No
