Overview
Here's a used GPS time receiver with the
original software install disc, which you should assume
includes trialware. The disc would seem to be dated 2005, so
support under subsequent versions of Windows (eg. Windows 7,
10, 11 etc) can not be guaranteed by me. I have powered up
the receiver and confirmed via the rear panel LEDs that the
unit acquires time as expected. I checked out the unit
by using a basic NMEA client and got good time and date sync
to GPS - see screenshots. An upgrade to the
files on the CD may be needed if you want to run the Beagle
apps under a recent version of Windows.
I would recommend skipping the paid-for Beagle Software applications and just using a generic NMEA decoding application such as NMEATime or VisualGPSView. As far as I can tell the white box is just a 'standard' GPS receiver module that outputs the data obtained from the GPS constellation as NMEA strings at 4800 baud.
Note that the listing comprises the items shown in the images only, so you will need to provide a serial cable and have a PC equipped with a suitable RS-232 COM port.. This is intended as an experimental purchase for someone interested in working with some legacy hardware. If you just want a clock then there are probably simpler solutions around. No seller technical support is included. Please only proceed if you are familiar with devices of this nature. I do not have any of the original purchase paperwork.

Description
The receiver design utilizes the latest technology and high-level circuit integration to achieve superior performance while minimizing space and power requirements.
While simple to install the minimum installation must provide a source of AC power and a clear view of the GPS satellites. Internal memory backup allows the receiver to retain critical data such as satellite orbital parameters, last position, date, and time. The Star Sync GPS comes with an antenna and external AC power supply.
Power Input Voltage 120 VAC to 5 VDC volt power supply (included). Typically draws 100 mA @ 5 VDC
