A lightly used portable Access 2USB codec. It has been tested to confirm correct operation. It has the AAC Codec set installed and has the optional Traversal Server license installed - a $100 upgrade. The photos show the actual item for sale. The unit has been updated with the latest firmware available for this unit at the time of listing and reset to factory default settings (logon is user:comrex, and the IP address is assigned by DHCP). A brand new matched USB WiFi adapter is included for occasions when a wired network is unavailable. The battery is also new. It's a generic 'camcorder' type and replacements are readily available on-line from $20 if you want to stock some spares. Note that the internal web server (if you want to access the config screens remotely over the network) is based on Flash technology so you will probably need to use an older browser to access it as current versions do not support that code. AAC, AAC-LD (low delay), HE-AAC (high efficiency), HE-AACv2 and AAC-ELD (enhanced low delay) can accommodate nearly any bandwidth, latency or audio quality requirement. In particular, the AAC-ELD mode provides the perfect balance of low bit rate, low delay, and high quality audio to get the best out of remote broadcasts.
