Here's a neat device that allows you hook up an analog phone that needs a standard phone socket (RJ-11) to an otherwise-incompatible VOIP, office or hotel phone.

The box connects between the handset and the phone and makes the handset jack appear to the modem to be a phone line. A great tool for places where there are no analog jacks (eg. an office with a digital PABX) or where the phones are hard-wired to the wall (many foreign countries) or that use a non-US style jack.

No power supply is included. As I recall it's 12V DC max on a 3.5mm mono jack tip positive.
