Here's a used RS-232 input/output option card for a Spectracom Securesync chassis. The part number is 1204-35 which I believe is a later version of the 1204-02 card but there is little information published, so the information below is for the 1204-02 type. This was tested in a Securesync unit and confirmed that the card can be managed via the web interface. This card is intended for mounting in the lower layer of option cards. Usually the lower layer is populated first and then additional cards are added to the upper level.

Description

The ASCII Time Code Module (RS-232) provides one RS-232 input interface and one RS-232 output interface for Asynchronous Serial signal including date and time information. The input and output Data Formats are selected among predefined formats.
